Itinerary: Bertinoro, San Cristoforo, Palazzone, Matellica, Castiglione di Cervia, Cervia

Starting from the town of Bertinoro, this itinerary for MTB and gravel bikes leads directly to the sea, ideal to enjoy a pleasant ride and the cheerful atmosphere of the Romagna beaches. After a downhill start, the route follows the banks of the river Savio along dirt roads and cycle paths amid quiet natural surroundings. Continuing along the bends of the river you reach the Cervia Salt Pan, famous for its rich birdlife (which also includes the black-winged stilt and the pink flamingo) and for its “white gold” – the renowned sweet salt of Cervia. To end the ride, enjoy a delicious piadina in one of the kiosks on the beach.
