Santarcangelo di Romagna

Itinerary: Cesenatico, Gatteo Mare, Savignano sul Rubicone, Sant’Arcangelo di Romagna, Bellaria, Gatteo Mare, Cesenatico

Starting from the monument to Marco Pantani, the route goes south along the seafront and then into the Romagna countryside along the Rubicone riverbank. Once in Savignano sul Rubicone, the tour continues towards the ancient mediaeval village of Santarcangelo di Romagna, at the foot of the first hills in the Valmarecchia valley. You finally arrive in Bellaria, pedalling along backcountry paths that run along the Uso river, and then return to the starting point at the seafront.
