Itinerary: Mesola, Santa Giustina, Mesola
The Po Delta Park is a real haven for nature lovers. A stone’s throw from the Adriatic Sea, this itinerary helps cyclists discover natural and architectural treasures between the banks of the Po of Goro and Bianco Canal. It starts at Mesola Castle, one of the twelve Este villas, the so-called “Delizie”, which at the time was the sumptuous summer residence of Duke Alfonso II. It continues along the bank of the Po of Goro, before returning along Bianco Canal towards Abate Tower, an emblematic example of 16th-century hydraulic engineering. A delightful excursion for the whole family in the fascinating natural context of the Po Delta Park.
