By MTB to the Volcano of Monte Busca
Itinerary: Portico di Romagna, Villaggio Monte Busca, Bocconi, Portico di Romagna
Exciting singletrack and dirt roads will take you to the volcano of Monte Busca, a burning fountain of methane gas active since the 16th century. Leaving Portico di Romagna behind, the route is a true immersion into nature, ideal for an unforgettable mountain bike adventure. The gradients require good training and off-road riding skills, but there will be plenty of chance to take a break, refuel and enjoy the view. On the way back towards Portico di Romagna, for example, you can stop near Ponte della Brusia where you will find a swimming pool right under the waterfalls: the ideal place to relax and cool off on tree-lined banks during a beautiful day of mountain biking.
Curiosities
