Montiano e Longiano

Itinerary: Cesenatico, Bagnarola, Montiano, Longiano, Gambettola, Sala, Cesenatico

From the monument to Marco Pantani, the tour leads along the Cesenatico seafront and towards the secondary roads of the Romagna countryside – to the Cesena hills. The first climb leads to the village of Montiano, dominated by its curiously heart-shaped Rocca Malatestiana fortress. Here you descend and then climb up steeply to the other side of the valley to the village of Longiano. Once you have admired the view of the hills and the sea, you return to Cesenatico along country roads with little traffic.
